Hair Salon Serving Cambridge, MA

Expert color, highlights and cuts — straight out Concord Avenue, and easier to park.
Cambridge, Massachusetts

The far end of Concord Avenue

Plenty of Cambridge clients find us the same way: they get tired of paying Harvard Square prices and circling Huron Village for twenty minutes first. Robert’s Salon and Spa sits at 66 Leonard Street in Belmont Center, at the far end of Concord Avenue — seven or eight minutes from Fresh Pond, about twelve from Harvard Square, and a direct bus ride from either.

For more than 30 years we have built the business on color: dimensional foil highlights, single-process shades, gray blending that grows out softly, and corrections that fix what happened somewhere else. Cuts, blowouts, smoothing treatments and spa services round out the menu, so the whole visit happens in one place.

Why Cambridge Clients Make the Trip

West Cambridge is closer to Belmont Center than it is to most of Cambridge. A few reasons our clients cross the line:

A direct bus, no transfer.

The 74 and the 75 both run from Harvard Station and end at Belmont Center. You can leave the car at home entirely, which is not something most salons in the other direction can offer you.

The price of the same work is lower here.

Same Goldwell professional color, same foils, same master colorists — without a Harvard Square address folded into the ticket.

Color is the specialty, not a sideline.

Roughly two-thirds of what we do is color work. It is the reason most people come, and the reason they stay.

The same colorist, year after year.

City salons turn over fast. Ours has stylists who have been at the same station for well over a decade, so the person who knows your formula is still here next spring.
